TankWarden - Reduced Loss and Instant Tracking

1. Driver Approaches Wellhead

The Driver or Authorized User types in a driver ID code. After the user authentication is complete by the Tank Warden system, the remote kiosk is activated and records an initial level reading. After the reading is taken, the information is recorded and the driver can start the transaction. This step uses advanced technology to ensure the security of your tank inventory. If a driver fails to authenticate the box, the information is logged and submitted to the server. The server then sends email or text message alerts to the responsible parties. This reduces theft and skimming, providing added security and peace of mind.

2. Driver Loads Fluid

After the Driver or Authorized User is authenticated, the driver can start a transaction (load or offload liquid into the tanks). The Driver opens the valve and proceeds to draw (take) or offload inventory. (The automated valve in the Tank Warden System automatically opens when the driver is authenticated and starts the transaction) After the valve is closed, the driver ends the transaction. Another reading is then taken to determine the liquid levels after the transaction. At which point the information is submitted to the server and stored in the database. This information is viewable minutes after the transaction takes place.

3. Driver Approaches Delivery Location

The driver is now able to finish the transaction and leave. At this point, all of the transaction data is sent to the server and the amount of product taken or loaded is viewable in minutes online. This process allows the user to verify all information provided by the trucking and distribution companies in real-time. This process can speed up the accounts payable/receivable significantly. In addition, the driver never has to manually gauge the tank. Manual tank gauging is dangerous because the driver can fall while climbing the tanks, H₂S could be present, as well as the inherent fire risk.

4. Driver Unloads Fluid

The driver off-loads the fluids at the disposal or drop off site, and another Tank Warden System at the drop off site can track the liquid that came in, as well as who, when, what, and where. This gives the tank owners complete control over their process, and gives them the data they need to know where they can improve. Efficiency alerts can be sent periodically throughout the day to help managers stay updated throughout the day. This real-time data tracking system enhances flexibility, accuracy, accountability, and efficiency, which has saved our customers hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars annually.
